Notes:

In 1998 Gavin again came looking for soundtrack music, this time for a 16 minute epic, eventually titled "Dead Shot". I found the rough-cut footage very inspirational, and I produced a lot of material that was very integrated with the action taking place in the film. Gavin was happy but did ask for a few changes.

Main Titles - Originally Gavin declared he wanted a military-sounding drum thing, but my first attempt was obviously too much like a march! The Dead Shot film is thematically pretty morbid and depressing, so this piece attempts to set the mood from the start.

The Bunker - In Dead Shot I had the complete rough cut of the film to write the music against. This piece was dropped from the film but Gavin then ended up using it as the music for the end titles. I still like it in its original location here though.

End Titles - Alas, never actually used in the Dead Shot film, this was the piece I actually wrote specifically for the end title music. I like the guitar solo a lot, I think Gavin should have used the music in the film, but he gets the final word.
