Don't we all have one of these?

In my second year of university I moved into a dorm in a different town, leaving my two guitars behind.

By the second semester I couldn't stand it anymore and bought a no-name red stratocaster copy in a second-hand shop.

It was pretty terrible but ok for practicing.

That summer I basically replaced every piece of the guitar except the jack bezel, the knobs, the strap hooks, and the scratch plate. Here it is leaning up against the fence in my parent's garden, complete.

This became my main guitar for a number of years until I bought the Ibanez.
