Revenge of the Dyslexic

On Tuesday we left work a little early and went to The Orleans to see "Revenge of the Sith". I'm afraid that I get seduced by the dark side of Dyslexia when I encounter a title like that, and it seems appropriate. I really enjoyed the last 30 minutes of the film, but they do not make up for the two hours of sith that preceeded it.

Fanboys will love it no doubt, because they get to finally see all the backstory events about which hints have been dropped in numerous interviews with the Emper^H^H^H Lucas. But backstory is not enough. Acting, characterisation, and plots would have been good too. It just goes to show that when you're not accountable to anyone (and as far as the films go, Mr Lucas is surely accountable to no studio big-wig at this point), the quality of the product can suffer. (See Office 2003, Microsoft).
